The No. 2 ranked Iowa Mennonite School boys soccer team begins the class 1A playoffs Monday when they take on the Mediapolis Bulldogs in Kalona.

IMS finished the regular season with a 15-1 overall record and were champions of the Southeast Iowa Superconference. In their last match they beat Mount Vernon 4-1. On the year, Louis Etienne leads the IMS attack with 14 goals. Cole Ours and Isaiah Swantz are best on the team with eight assists and in goal Blake Bontrager has 54 saves.

Mediapolis comes into the match with an overall record of 6-11. They fell to Columbus 3-2 in their last match. On the year the Bulldogs are led by Shawn Yaley with five goals. He also has the team lead with 178 saves. These two teams met in April with IMS taking a 5-0 win. Action begins tonight at 6:30 on the campus of Iowa Mennonite School.
