The Washington Demon boys soccer team looks to take the first step on the tournament trail Monday when they open the class 2A playoffs against conference foe Keokuk.

Washington comes into play with an overall record of 8-6. In their last match they were beaten 8-1 by Fairfield Thursday. On the year the Demons are led by Anthony Torres with nine goals. Thomas Zimmer leads the team in goal with 45 saves.

Keokuk comes into the match with a 1-16 overall record. Their lone win coming last week over Centerville 8-0. On the season the Chiefs are led by Jamin Klose with 16 goals. In goal, Cameron Muston leads Keokuk with 91 saves.

These two teams met twice during the regular season with the Demons taking 3-1 and 1-0 wins. Action begins at 5p.m. at Washington High School.
