The No. 2 ranked Iowa Mennonite School boys soccer team wrapped up the regular season Thursday with a 4-1 Senior Night win over the Mount Vernon Mustangs.
Louis Etienne got the scoring started for IMS with a 13th minute goal on a Tyler Swantz assist, and that’s where the score stood at half. In the second half, Etienne struck again on a rebound to double the Iowa Mennonite lead. Gideon Sangare made it 3-0 IMS, just a few minutes later and then Sangare gave the assist on Etienne’s final strike of the night. With the win IMS wraps up the regular season at 15-1. They open the playoffs next week.
