It was high drama Monday night in Williamsburg during a top ten boys soccer matchup between No. 10 Iowa Mennonite and the No. 3 Raiders.

IMS prevailed in extra penalty kicks 4-3. Iowa Mennonite got on the board in the 33rd minute on a Louis Etienne steal and score. IMS would take that 1-0 lead into the half. In the 63rd minute, Isaiah Swantz doubled the IMS lead with a goal on a direct kick. The Raiders got on the board in the 68th minute, taking advantage of a bouncing ball in the box. The two teams continued to go back and forth as Iowa Mennonite extended the lead to 3-1 in the 69th minute on a Cole Ours header but the Raiders scored twice in the games final eight minutes to force extra time. After two ten minute periods, nothing had been decided, sending the game to penalty kicks. Through five regulation penalty kicks, things still stood tied at four made kicks apiece. Both goalkeepers made saves on the sixth shots, while both teams drilled their seventh. Tyler Swantz hit on the eighth PK attempt for IMS while, Blake Bontrager made the stop on the Raiders eighth try giving IMS the win. Iowa Mennonite is now 11-0 on the year, they open the Superconference tournament Friday against Highland in Kalona.
