The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team will be on the links Tuesday at Blue Top Ridge at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort for the River Valley Conference Championship meet.

The Golden Hawks enter play with the best 18 hole average in the south division of the River Valley Conference at 404. The Hawks are led by Paige Slabaugh and her 92 average per 18 holes. Other scoring averages for Mid-Prairie include Abbi Patterson 97, Georgia Nisly 104, Kendra Schaefer 112, Abby Statler 118 and Emma Mattes 125.

The top two scoring averages in the league come from the north with Monticello shooting 370 per 18 holes and Bellevue 386. The Panthers are led by Lauren Ries and her 82 average while the Comets are led by Paige Deppe and her 90 average.

Action starts at 9a.m. and continues all day at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside.
