Ryan Tusing

A motorcycle crashed in Washington Friday after a pursuit with law enforcement.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 5:32 p.m. a deputy reported to dispatch that there was a pursuit of a motorcycle which was operated by 26-year-old Ryan James Tusing of Mt. Pleasant. The motorcycle crashed at the intersection of West 5th Street and North Marion Avenue and the bike collided with a street sign. Tusing was arrested on Washington County warrants for operating while intoxicated second offense and failure to appear for a non-jury trial for driving while under suspension and failure to provide proof of financial liability. New charges were filed for felony eluding, driving while revoked, operating while intoxicated, careless driving, reckless driving, interference with official acts, no insurance, fraudulent registration, and speeding.

He was also wanted out of Henry County for failure to appear for driving under suspension, and out of Black Hawk County for probation violation on theft in the second degree and fourth degree, and forgery. Tusing was taken to the Washington County Jail.
