The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Lone Tree Lady Lion girls golf teams were in action Friday at Marengo at the Iowa Valley Tiger Tournament.

Mid-Prairie posted the top area finish, taking second of five teams with a total score of 204. Iowa Valley won their home tournament with a 199. The Golden Hawks were led by meet medalist Paige Slabaugh with a 45. Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Georgia Nisly with a 50, Emma Mattes at 54, Kendra Schaefer and Abigail Statler with 55s and Abbi Patterson with a 60.

The Lady Lions did not post a team score but were led by Karli burr with a 62. Bailey Pierson shot 71 and Abby Buckman 76.
