On Tuesday, the Highland Huskies, Lone Tree Lions and the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons faced off in a co-ed triangular golf meet.
On the boys side, the Lone Tree Lions won the meet with a score of 204. The Falcons finished second with a score of 205, and the Huskies finished third with a score of 221. The Falcons had co-meet medalist with Brandon Chick and Zach Bieri shooting 46s.
The Lions were led by Keegan Edwards who shot a 49. Cory Kruger fired a 50. Austin Marshek shot a 52 and Erik Edens 53 for the Lions team score. Other Lions’ scores included Josh Mills firing a 55 and Curtis Patterson shot a 57.
The Huskies top scorer was Grady Yeggy shooting a 47. Richard Dunbar followed up with a 50. Caedon Harbison and Zane Eagle both shooting 62s. Grant Colbert shot a 63. Geoff Streb rounded out the scoring with a 69.
On the girls’ side Louisa-Muscatine scored 222 and Highland and Lone Tree did not post team scores. Louisa-Muscatine’s Olivia Howell was the meet medalist with a 51 and medalist runner up Sarah Martinez for the Falcons shot a 54.
For the Highland Huskies, Kayla Cerney shot a 64 and Shantall Avendano fired a 66.
For the Lone Tree Lions, Bailey Pierson shot a 71.
Lone Tree and Highland will be at Columbus for a Triangular meet on Thursday.
