Fifteen vehicle wrecks were reported in Washington County between 4 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday, including one rollover where a person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 4:57 p.m. Sunday, a single-vehicle rollover wreck with injuries happened near 265th Street along Highway 218, between Crawfordsville and Ainsworth. The Chevrolet 2500 truck had rolled into the median in snowy and windy conditions, and it came to rest on the driver’s side. The driver was Brenden Hollingsworth of Winfield, Missouri.

Hollingsworth was northbound on Highway 218 when he lost control and rolled the truck. He was wearing a seat belt. He was taken by Washington County Ambulance to the University of Iowa hospital. The truck was towed. Crawfordsville Fire Department, Crawfordsville QRS, Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, and Washington County Rescue assisted at the scene.
