The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team is back on their home mat today to host the River Valley Conference Championship meet.
Mid-Prairie closed up the dual season Thursday with a quadrangular at Wilton where they beat Durant and Tipton but fell to the Beavers wrapping up the regular season with a 14-13 overall record. Those 14 dual wins set a new school record for a season.
Joining the Golden Hawks at today’s RVC Conference meet are No. 3 West Liberty, Iowa City Regina, West Branch, Tipton, Wilton, Durant, North Cedar, Camanche, Monticello, Northeast Goose Lake, Cascade and Bellevue.
There are a total of 15 ranked wrestlers in today’s field.
Action begins at 10AM and continues all day at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
