An annual event in Washington that takes nearly 100 gallons of milk, 4,500 eggs, and 20 cases of pancake batter is returning this week.
Pancake Day, as it’s been termed, is being held Wednesday at the Washington Fire Station. The annual fundraiser serves attendees fried eggs, sausage patties, and of course lots of pancakes. Last year, approximately 1,800 meals were served. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and supper will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $7 for adults and $5 for kids, the cost goes up $1 at the door.
