Title: Prescribed Fire Workshop
Description: A prescribed fire workshop will be held on Thursday February 22 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters. This workshop is geared toward landowners who are interested in using prescribed fire as a management tool for prairies and woodlands, and anyone 18 and older may attend. Volunteer firefighters are also encouraged to attend and may find this class helpful in responding to wildfires. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Participants can register and pay online at tri-rivers.org or forms can be picked up at the Louisa and Muscatine County Conservation and NRCS offices.
