The City of Riverside will proceed with negotiations for a housing development north of town.

The city council passed a resolution at their recent meeting to proceed with developer APEX Construction and Yeggy Roetlin Farms, LLC for a development of 28 acres northwest of Tupelo Boulevard. The resolution states that APEX Construction wishes to annex, subdivide and develop the property, and the city is willing to assist in the project, with the belief that the subdivision will benefit the City of Riverside. Around 70 homes are proposed to be built, both single family and duplexes. The council has discussed extending infrastructure – roads, sewer and utilities – for this project. The council will have a work session with APEX Construction to negotiate and finalize a developer agreement on January 8 at 5:30 p.m.
