A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for a new business in Washington Thursday afternoon.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce with Chamber ambassadors held the ceremony for The Avenue Salon & Spa. The business is located at 109 North Iowa Avenue. The business is operated by Kelsey Anding and Heather Marek.
