The Southeast Conference recently released the all conference volleyball teams and four Washington players were recognized.
Headlining the action was Isabel Bailey being named to the second team. The junior was an offensive threat leading the team in kills with 95 and an average of 1.28 per set. She also showed her versatility, collecting 113 digs on the year.
The Demons’ three seniors were all recognized as honorable mentions. Kylee Porter found success at the service line, going 124 of 141 on serve attempts on the year and having 10 aces. She was also second on the team in digs with 218, only behind fellow honorable mention teammate Morgan Brinning. Brinning’s 222 digs was the seventh-most in the conference. She also posted the best serve efficiency on the team being successful 94% of the time. The final honorable mention member was Megan Mitchell. The senior put together a solid season as the setter. She collected 241 assists on the year, and that was fourth in the conference. Mitchell was successful on 180 of her 204 serve attempts.
The Demons finished the year with a 5-24 overall record.
