The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team had a big year on the serve in 2017.

IMS had two players in the top 10 of the Southeast Iowa Superconference in serve efficiency for those with at least 100 attempts, led by Joya Schrock who was fifth at 175/185 for a .946 total. Suzanna Yoder was sixth in the league at 265/282 for a .940 efficiency rating. Avery Blauvelt was 10th in the Superconference with 38 aces on the season. Her .49 aces per set was ninth best in the conference. Sami Miller finished fourth in the Superconference averaging .56 aces per set. IMS ended the season in the regional quarterfinals of the class 1A playoffs.
