The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team was knocked out of the River Valley Conference volleyball tournament in second round action Thursday.

The Hawks advanced through the opening night of the tourney with a 1-2 record, beating Northeast Goose Lake before dropping matches to Bellevue and Tipton. In second round action, Mid-Prairie was swept by West Branch 21-18 and 21-12. In the match Mid-Prairie was led by Maya Hall and Cassidy Hershberger each with one kill. Caitlyn Riggan finished with eight assists and Anna Vilovchik had nine digs. With the loss Mid-Prairie is now 5-22 on the year. They open the regional tournament Wednesday at Central Lee.
