May the odds be ever in Columbus Wildcats favor for tonight’s homecoming game.

Columbus Community High School celebrated this week’s homecoming with a theme from the young adult novel and movie The Hunger Games, with decorations paying homage to the series throughout the high school. Sergio Hernandez and Vivi Anaya were crowned as victors, or king and queen, at Monday’s coronation. The homecoming court also includes Nick Hernandez, Tommy Pretz, Marshall Meade, Caleb Fox, Maki Mendenhall, Lupita Montiel, Courtney Zaehringer, and Britney Villaseñor. The Wildcats will be clawing their way to victory against the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons at 7 p.m. tonight, with a dance after.
