Jack Eakins has been a spark all year for the Eagles carrying a .455 BA with five RBI. Six Eagles have experience on the mound, led by Jacob Wickencamp with a 3.75 ERA.
BGM (7-7) has been solid as of late, winners of three of their last four including a 5-3 win over Belle Plaine on Wednesday. Keegan James is the catalyst of the Bears’ offense, as he has a .463 BA with 10 RBI. Dylan Shafbuch has been solid on the bump with a 2.03 ERA in 20 2/3 innings of work.
The SICL showdown gets started at 6 p.m. tonight at Keota High School.
