BOYS

Class 1A

Brock Smith of Lone Tree finished 15th in the 800 in 2:03.96.

Lone Tree’s Sprint medley relay team of Avery Knock, Niko Gosnell, Drake Hotz and Jovonte Squiers took 21st in 1:39.70.

The WACO shuttle hurdle relay team of Cornell Hulme, Jackson Roth, Beau Beckler and Colton Horak were fifth in 1:00.62.

In the 100m dash, Sigourney’s Avery Moore is the state runner up with a time of 11.45 seconds. Sigourney’s Bryce Goldman was fourth, Keota’s Jacob Wickenkamp seventh and WACO’s Cornell Hulme eighth. Sigourney’s Avery Moore was also the state runner up in the 200 with a time of 22.47 seconds. Winfield-Mt. Union’s Bryce Robison was fourth..

The Sigourney 4×100 team of Carson Crawford, Bryce Goldman, Will Magill and Avery Moore took third in a time of 43.67 seconds.

The Sigourney Savages finished fourth in the team standings with 37 points.

Class 2A

Mid-Prairie’s Andrew Schwartz finished 16th in the 800 with a time of 2:02.19. Marshal Teets was 19th.

Mid-Prairie’s Zach Pettit finished 17th in the 1600 with a time of 4:37.50.

The Mid-Prairie sprint medley relay team of Cary Schaefer, Terryhn Jacoby, Quinn Schmidt and Peyton Miller took 12th in 1:37.52.

GIRLS

Class 1A

Cecilia Hemsworth of Winfield-Mt. Union was 23rd in the 800 with a time of 2:36.00

Pearl Krieger-Coble of Winfield-Mt. Union was 24th in the 1500 with a time of 5:12.79.

The Sigourney shuttle hurdle relay team of Autum and Summer Barthelman, Leah Carter and Sloane Magill won the state title with a time of 1:08.40.

Sigourney’s Autum Barthelman won the state championship in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.26. She took second in the 100m dash with a time of 12.77 seconds.

Class 2A

Mid-Prairie’s Anna Hostetler wins the state championship in the 800 with a time of 2:14.75. Marie Hostetler finishes fifth.

Mid-Prairie’s Anna Hostetler wins the state championship in the 1500 with a new state record time of 4:33.41. Marie Hostetler is second, also in a new state record time of 4:36.81.

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were state runners up with 58 points.

Class 3A

Hannah Anderson of Washington was fourth in the 100 with a time of 12.45 seconds.
