The Washington Demon girls golf team will hit the links today at Lake Panorama National Resort in Panora when they take on the Waukee Warriors.

The Demons enter play ranked No. 5 in the state in class 4A in the latest poll from the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. Washington has a 193 team average per nine holes. The Demon’s Sarah Nacos leads the way, ranked No. 1 in the state with a 37 stroke average per nine holes. Also ranked for Washington is Megan Strabala at No. 30 and Allison Vogel at No. 36.

Waukee is currently ranked third in the state in class5A. The Warriors have a team average of 177 and are led by No. 2 in class 5A Brook Boardman and her 38 average per nine holes.

Action continues all day between the Demons and the Warriors in Panora.
