The Sigourney boys’ track team is back at it tonight as they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg.

The Savages return to Eddyville, after they managed a second place finish there in the Ike Ryan Relays last week with a total of 105 points. Sigourney had a plethora of first place finishes led by Avery Moore in the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.95 seconds. Moore currently holds the best time in the South Iowa Cedar League for the 100m, 400m hurdles, and 400m dash; he also leads in the  long jump. Will Magill showed his versatility by placing first in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.54 seconds and a winning leap in the high jump of 5’8’’. Rounding out the top finishes for the Savages was Bryce Goldman who had a 100m time of 11.23 seconds.

The meet gets started at 4:30 p.m. tonight at Eddyville-Blakesburg High School.
