Graphic design, coding, welding and more will be offered to students in first through eighth grades at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center this summer. Kirkwood for Kids is returning for its third year in Washington June 19-23. Tera Pickens, director of the regional center, says many of the classes are STEM based with a blend of creative arts. Transportation is provided in Washington and at a number of area towns, like Riverside and Wayland. There are limited scholarships.
