Iowa Mennonite School is inviting their senior class to “Step into the Wardrobe” for their Narnia-themed annual banquet. IMS doesn’t hold a traditional prom like many schools do. Instead, they have a yearly tradition of a senior banquet, and this year’s event will happen on April 22nd. The theme, based on the C.S. Lewis book series “The Chronicles of Narnia,” was created by the junior class, which also handles all the decorations. In addition to the meal, attendees will be treated to entertainment, the nature of which will be kept secret until that evening. The night will conclude with the after banquet party at the North Liberty Rec Center, hosted by the senior parents. The banquet begins with appetizers at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:45.
