Winfield-Mount Union’s Kaleb Hagge has been one of the top golfers in Class 1A during his high school career. Hagge captured the 2015 individual state championship his freshman season with a 36-hole score of 145. He placed third last year with a two-day score of 148, falling five shots short of East Buchanan’s Chris Cooksley for the title.

Hagge also helped the Wolves qualify for last year’s team state competition. W-MU finished fourth out of the eight-team field with a score of 670. Kash Rossiter returns as one of the members of last year’s state tournament team. Rossiter posted the 33rd best performance with a score of 175. Graham Hagge was also returns as a part of last year’s state tournament team.

The Winfield-Mount Union boys’ golf team opens their season March 30 in a tournament at Keokuk’s Elks Fairview Golf Course.
