Three Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball players were recently named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Region team.
Mid-Prairie senior Ali Butters was an All-Regional selection. Butters ended the year averaging 12 points per game. She also had 79 rebounds, 62 assists and 44 steals.
Mid-Prairie senior Ireland Hostetler was an All-Regional selection. Hostetler ended the year averaging 10 points per game. She led the River Valley Conference with 82 blocked shots, fourth most in the state. Hostetler also pulled in 205 rebounds, third most in the River Valley Conference and seventh most in the state.
Mid-Prairie junior Addie Rath was an All-Regional selection. Rath ended the year averaging 14 points per game, 10th best in the River Valley Conference. Rath ended the year with 105 assists, second best in the RVC and seventh most in the state. She also pulled in 117 rebounds and had 69 steals.
The No. 12 ranked Golden Hawks were eliminated in the regional final by No. 3 Center Point-Urbana 52-35.
