The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team posted 17 wins this year, improving their victory total for the third straight season.

The Golden Hawks enjoyed success due in part to great effort on the defensive end of the floor. Mid-Prairie finished fourth in all of Class 3A with 131 blocked shots on the year. Senior Ireland Hostetler led the Golden Hawks in rejections, sending back 82 shots, best in the River Valley Conference and fourth best in the state. Hostetler also pulled down 205 rebounds on the season, best in the RVC and seventh in the state. Mid-Prairie finished the year at 17-7, falling to No. 3 Center Point-Urbana in the regional final round of the tournament.
