Iowa Mennonite School senior Noah Bruns wrapped up another successful season in the pool for the Iowa City West Trojan swim team last weekend at the state swimming meet in Marshalltown.
The Trojans finished ninth in the state as a team with their overall score of 94 points. Waukee won the team title with 259. Bruns swam anchor on the Trojans 200 free relay. He along with Oliver Martin, Brennon Keen and Ben Berhow finished the event in 1:28.23 taking 10th place. Bruns swam the lead-off leg of the 400 free relay. He along with Izaak Hajek, Ethan McAreavy and Ben Berhow finished in 3:20.21, taking 18th place. This is the second straight season that Bruns has been a part of the state swimming meet for Iowa City West.
