Washington County recently saw an increase in population, both in domestic and international residential change. According to a recent population migration estimate report from the Iowa Legislative Service, Washington County had an annual inflow of 202 in the domestic population and 15 in the annual international inflow. On the other hand, Iowa, Keokuk, Jefferson, Henry and Louisa Counties had more outflow. Johnson County had a net inflow of 7,219 people. The report is for April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2015.
