Saturday evening the Washington County Communications Office dispatchers received multiple calls from Brighton reporting an unknown flash of light. At 7:08 p.m. a caller reported she saw a flash of light and then an explosion while on her back porch in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street. Authorities checked the area and were not able to determine what it was or where it came from. No injuries were reported.
