Three people were arrested on drug charges in two separate traffic stops in Washington County Friday. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 9:42 p.m. authorities conducted a traffic stop at Highway 92 and Larch Avenue, north of Washington. Twenty-three-year-old Spencer Lee Walker of Washington was arrested for OWI first offense, possession of marijuana and cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
Then at 10:58 p.m. in Kalona, 33-year-old Jeffrey A. Daniels of Washington was arrested for driving under suspension, OWI, possession of methamphetamine third offense, possession of marijuana, two counts of prescription pills and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, 41-year-old Dana Rivet of Kalona was arrested at the same traffic stop for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were taken to the Washington County Jail.
