The Lone Tree volleyball team saw their season come to an end Monday night in the second round of the class 1A playoffs, falling to the Belle Plaine Plaineswomen in four sets.

Final scores were 25-15, 21-25, 25-23 and 25-19. On the night the Lady Lions were led by Elena Sieverding with 18 kills, Maddie Forbes with 26 assists and Liz Dodson finished with 17 digs defensively. Lone Tree will lose seniors Liz Dodson, Maddie Forbes, Kaycee Kane, Elena Sieverding, and Zoie Simonsen to graduation. Lone Tree ends their season at 13-14 overall.
