Funeral services for 80-year-old O. Leon “Bud” Shelman of Mediapolis, formerly of Washington, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Mediapolis. Internment with military honors will follow at the Kossuth Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, where family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established for the First United Methodist Church.
