The boil order has been lifted for the cities of Columbus Junction and Columbus City. Tests came back clean this morning and city officials alerted KCII the boil order was no longer in effect. Early Tuesday, the Columbus Junction water supply had a problem in the distribution system and lost pressure. The boil order lasted nearly three days, because the city needed four clean tests due to the large number of connections impacted. The water in both Columbus Junction and Columbus City is now safe for consumption.
