The Marching Demon Nation presented the band’s field show at the Davis County Festival of Bands Saturday and brought home some awards. The Washington High School marching band placed second at the festival and won the Fan Favorite Award for the second year in a row. Don Hughes, high school band director, says the band is preparing for their next competition in Muscatine on Saturday. They’ll take the field at 8:30. This year’s show is based on the ancient Greek battle of Thermopylae.
