Summer is coming to a close and there’s still time to register for upcoming fall classes at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center. Director of the Center, Tera Pickens says their fall term classes begin August 22nd and prospective students have time to contact the community college to enroll in local classes. She adds they’re seeing more and more students stay in the area after high school to take college classes locally for a couple of years and then moving on to a university. There are over 100 different courses offered to students, including early morning and evening classes. She adds there’s a new way to take classes online through their WebLive series, with high speed internet students can access any of the classes from home. For more information about signing up for courses contact the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center.
