Since the Riverside Casino opened in 2006, the Washington County Riverboat Foundation has given over $37 million in awards and applications are available for their next grant cycle. The applications for the competitive fall 2016 grants are available online and are due by 5 p.m. October 5th. Applications received by September 28th will be checked for errors. At their spring grant ceremony nearly $800,000 was presented across 22 grants to area non-profits and cities to help improve the greater community from band instruments to fire department supplies.
