The Highland School District is preparing to welcome back students for the upcoming school year with freshman orientation tomorrow. Starting at 6 p.m., incoming freshmen and their parents are invited to the high school cafeteria for orientation and Chromebook rollout. In order to borrow one of the laptops for the school year, parents and students will need to attend. The following night, the school will host additional rollout meetings in the cafeteria with upperclassmen so they can receive Chromebooks. Sophomores will meet at 6 p.m., juniors at 7 p.m., and seniors at 8 p.m. Highland schools begin classes on Tuesday, August 23rd.
