Iowa Mennonite travels to Columbus Tuesday night for a Southeast Iowa Superconference softball matchup.

IMS enters the game with an 0-2 record on the early season, falling Monday night at home to the Highland Huskies 11-1. IMS is led on the year by Hannah Harris, Rubye Ney and Calli Shaw who are all hitting .500. Shaw leads IMS with two doubles and two RBI. In the circle Harris is the only pitcher to have seen action for Iowa Mennonite. She has an 0-2 record with an 8.27 ERA. Opponents are hitting .365 against her.

The Columbus Wildcats are 2-5 on the season. In their last game they fell at Wilton 13-2. Bailey Stroud leads the Wildcats at the plate, she is hitting 579 with three doubles and a home run. Anna Hamilton owns the team lead with four RBI. In the circle Columbus is led by Kayla Beenen. The eighth grader has thrown 17 1/3 innings with a 2-1 record. She has a 2.02 ERA and opponents are hitting .209.
