The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team was eliminated from the first class 1A girls regional playoffs Tuesday night in a 5-1 loss to Williamsburg.
The Golden Hawks entered the playoffs with a 5-6 overall record. The Raiders jumped out early in the match, scoring in the first five minutes on a goal from Hannah Jennings. The Raiders kept adding on from there, pushing their advantage to 3-0 before the Golden Hawks found the goal. Mid-Prairie got on the board when Jenna Boller executed a set play on a free kick, finding Natalie Graber who beat the keeper to make it 3-1 Williamsburg. The Raiders would add two more insurance goals late to finish out the win. With the loss the Golden Hawks end their season at 5-7.
