Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 50’s with partly sunny skies Saturday morning during the third annual Kewash Half Marathon. The race starts in downtown Washington and runners will go out 6.5 miles on the Kewash Trail and then turn back to town for the final half of the event. Becky Harkema, director of the YMCA and one of the event organizers, shares they have people registered from a variety of places, including out of state. Last year there were 75 participants. There is also a 5k option and Friday evening a beer run starting and ending in front of JP’s 207 will be held. For registration information click here.
