Temperatures dipped below freezing Monday and carried over into the early morning hours Tuesday. The low overnight temperature dropped down to 27 degrees in Washington according to AccuWeather. A freeze warning was put into effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, wind speeds topped 35 miles per hour at 2:15 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Washington Municipal Airport.
