Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer has filed to run for re-election. Widmer is running as a Republican.

Other positions to be on the June 7th primary ballot include Washington County Sheriff and three seats on the Washington County Board of Supervisors. Candidates who have filed include: Stan Stoops and Robert Shepherd for District 4 supervisor; Bob Yoder and Stephanie Schlabaugh for District 2 supervisor; and Jared Schneider, Kirk Bailey and Ken Miller for sheriff. All of the candidates who have filed are Republicans.

As of Monday at noon, nobody had turned in papers to run for the District 1 supervisor seat that is currently held by Jack Seward, Jr. To be a candidate in the primary, nomination papers and an affidavit of candidacy must be submitted to the Washington County Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m. this Wednesday, March 30th.
