Tuesday afternoon a woman reported a square hay bale coming through her windshield while she was driving on Highway 218 near Riverside. The driver pulled over to the side of the road near 175th Street. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel and Riverside QRS went to the scene. Washington County Ambulance also responded and transported one patient to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. The vehicle was towed from the scene and no citations were issued. Names of those involved were not released.
