So far this month, precipitation is below normal. According to the National Weather Service, Washington usually receives just over five inches of snow and seven-tenths of an inch of rain in the first 17 days of February and so far Washington has recorded 3.9 inches of snow and 65-hundredths of an inch of precipitation. Looking at the snowfall totals since July 1st, Washington is below the normal by about six inches. The normal is 18.2 inches of snowfall.
