For 15 years Bill Poch has served Riverside as a councilman, mayor, and now he sets his sights on bringing a community center to the Riverside. The Riverside Community Center Committee has begun meeting to discuss what the center would include. Poch tells KCII News, the committee agrees residents would like to have a full size gym, weight rooms, meeting rooms, an area for table tennis, and a TV room. Poch also says the committee has its sights set on fundraising for the project and that land for the center has already been purchased near the elementary school.

The next committee meeting is set for January 20th at 6:30 p.m. at city hall. For more from Poch listen to today’s In Touch with Southeast Iowa.
