Prepare for cold temperatures over the next few days. Temperatures aren’t forecast to rise above freezing until Tuesday. So far this month, the average temperature has been nearly 12 degrees above normal at 36.9 degrees – a record high for December in Washington.

According to the National Weather Service, total snowfall this month has been below the normal mark of 5.8 inches. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
