The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team has entered the Christmas break.

The Golden Hawks finished the 2015 calendar year at 0-6 overall and in conference play. The Hawks had a close call in notching win number one on the season, December 18th at West Liberty, where they held a two point lead with just 1.2 seconds remaining before Parker Feldman banked in a three point shot at the buzzer to send the Hawks to defeat. In their last game before the break, Mid-Prairie was beaten by West Branch 73-44.

Mid-Prairie is led on the year by Nolan Faselt at 10 points per game, and two assists per contest. Faselt is in the top 10 in the River Valley Conference, shooting three pointers at 50% for the year. Noah Altenhofen leads Mid-Prairie on the boards with five rebounds per contest. The Golden Hawks will open the 2016 portion of their schedule Tuesday, January 5th when they host Durant.
