A Wellman man was arrested following a car wreck on Christmas night. At 10:54 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle accident in the 1100 block of 2nd Street in Wellman. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrested 22-year-old Austin Samuel Anderson-Norman. There was damage to a private mailbox and to a City of Wellman culvert. No injuries were reported in the incident.
