Airbags deployed in a car accident involving a dog near Waters Edge Wednesday night. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Debra Ann Engeman of Fort Madison was driving her vehicle on G36 when it struck a dog at approximately 5:26 p.m. near Riverside Road. Engeman did not request medical attention, and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Jason Farmer of Washington was given a verbal warning for allowing a dog to run at large.
